Kevin Marti report helped find original "Bullitt"??

I figured the pictures would get people talking and speculating. I'd love to see more pics of the sheet metal they removed from the car. Maybe even hear from Jason at CR regarding how much sheet metal they can replace and still legally use the VIN.
 
Aw give Ol' Ed a break, after all he's a fureigner, and was born 3 years after the movie was made. I give him credit for the details he gives on his show. BTW I think the Bullitt chase scene is still the best ever filmed. I like the part where McQueen misses the turn and smokes'em backing up and taking off again. Just makes me smile :)

from the pics you posted it looks like not much of the original car is left for sure.
