I wish I could go this year. But a long road trip to Rhode Island the week after the tour has me already booked. Julie is really tired of me complaining about it.

I understand, we sat out last year and really missed it. Hope you can come at least to BG for the start in 2018!

If you're going to be anywhere near Newport RI, be sure to get to this museum http://audrainautomuseum.org/ . It's only about 20-30 cars, but very well done. All of the cars are from the area and they change the theme every 3 months. Our club stopped there back in December and saw the Bold and Brassy collection - beautiful cars. Even if you don't go the museum, Newport is a very nice town to spend the day in.

And back to our regularly scheduled programming. So much to update I am not even going to try to start right now. I hope to have a TON of stuff with lots of pics to post up this weekend.
Plan remains the same. Fire up the new engine to break it in...and then yank it and put in another freshly built just in time for the tour. Added a new wrinkle and am swapping out the full rear end too. Custom housing, changing gears and going with a True Trac. The 4.11 and Detroit are not the best option for the long haul so change was needed. Anyone close want to make a deal on a 9" set-up to bolt into a 65/66?

Are you sure you don't need to repaint it before the tour also?

Sounds like you've done everything else twice now.. lol

Seriously though git er done. If you need an extra set of hands I'm only 3 hours away.

Can you swing down to Kentucky and swap in my TKO while I'm in Europe?

I am wasting some 3 or 4 hours a night sleeping now I could probably forego. I just hope my calendar holds as it is and I stay in the immediate area the next couple weeks. Being able to steal extra hours almost daily to get stuff done is paying off.

You could have 100 hours a day and STILL not get that car finished. Besides, if by some miracle it is ready by the PT, you'll want to change the farfignooton the night before.

Dang, I knew I forgot something. I am going to have check my farfignooton and my blinker fluid too.
