Power tour wagon build?

I like those, but it doesn't excite me.

Besides, now that Craig is doing a wagon for the PT I'll have come up with a new idea......

don't abandon the wagon on account of my son's wagon. He has been wanting one a long time. And your looking at 50's era while he is into the 70's Bradey Bunch cars

Ok....to revive an old thread. This came across another forum and made me think of this topic. Nice looking car, probably a good deal if it is as clean as it appears.

Those window stickers sure do bring back memories. That and the metal deck in the back. Spent lots of summer vacations sliding around in the back of an old Chevy wagon.

It looks to be the perfect highway cruiser, and no doubt would gather lots of attention at car shows!

Yeah it's been a while but I didn't forget, Pat. If you are at all still thinking about it this would seem the one. '59 Rambler wagon. Trim and glass all there. Looks like the driver's door is the only damage aside from floor rot that seller says would require some panel replacement. The patina is perfect and balanced all around the car. Be mine if I had a place to stash it! Asking only $2500 which is a steal in the hot wagon market. Located near me.

Seems the Gas Monkey moron did one at some point. Here's their effort. Look familiar? Same color and almost same patina.

That would be perfect, but I axed the idea for now. I still may someday.

The reason I wanted to build one originally was so the wife and daughter could do the power tour and some distance car shows with me.

Laid out my whole plan, found a a few decent cars and both the little women told me they wouldn't go anyway. To much driving and nothing fun for them.

So I bought a Jeep instead.

If i bring home another project I'm going to end up divorced.

It's a tough choice... Wife or cars. Hmmmmm
