Not talking beer here. Been a while since we had a thread about our pups, etc. and since I just got a new one myself thought we might post up some pics.

I had been looking for an American Bulldog pup for a while to be a playmate for my dog Apollo and finally hit pay dirt. Fix meet Roxy.

Dogs are awesome. I miss my two German Shephards, Porsche (female) and Staark (male). They were siblings of different litters. When I had a crappy day at work, they didn't care and almost knocked me over when I got home.
Congrats on your new addition to your family!
They are both at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for me. I will get another German Shephard once I get settled in South Dakota.

Nice addition to the family.

The only dog I ever had passed away 30 years ago. Miniature collie. Great dog.

Maybe someday I'll have time for another one.

I can't imagine not having a dog. In my entire life I have never been without one. Always have a furry best buddy around.

Its coming up to a year since we lost Max.
Im still working on the Princess to get another Shepherd.
Theres so many older ones out there looking for a final home.

That's a cute pup! Below is our German Shepard Eddie and Darby our Yorkshire Terrorist. Eddie is chewing on a chunk of antler (all that's left), and Darby is waiting for him to leave it unguarded.

Great way to title Yorkies. They are more anal retentive than Shepherds
I will get another German Shepherd once this divorce crap is done n I relocate to South Dakota

We've added a new one too...
Abby's the big girl - believe she's a Flat Coat Retreiver mix. We've had her about 3 years after she was rescued wandering the streets on a chewed-off cable. Sweet, mellow, lovable goofball.
Kaci is the new one. Little Long-hair Chihuahua mix. Also a rescue - from a puppy mill situation. She is THE BOSS - goes after the big one with 9 pounds of fury when she gets pissed...AbbyKaci.JPG

It's funny how the little dogs always tend to rule. Especially if female. Been having a great time watching Roxy and the big guy roughhouse. Apollo has almost 90 pounds on her but you would never know it. She holds her own.

My female, Porsche was totally Alpha. My male, Staark would just go in his doghouse n sleep.

Both loved to chew on flat tennis balls

Here's our Maggie. A rescue from the Underdog Ranch that Toni does some volunteer work for
She was left in the street with her Mom and 2 other siblings when they were only 4 months old
She has one brown eye...one black eye with a white stripe down her chest.
Mom was an Australian Cattle Dog...Dad we assume was a tramp LabP1140991.JPG

Our other two dogs are rescues. A boxer mix and Apollo. Apollo was turned in by his owners because they couldn't handle his energy and size. Their huge loss led to our love of the breed hence the search for our new pup Roxy. There are such awesome rescue dogs out there that deserve homes.

I have never actually owned a dog, yet I live in a very dog friendly area. Many of my neighbors and friends have dogs and they all seem to love me as well as one of the two Ash trees in the parking strip in front of my house!! . Maybe I was dog in a prior life?!!??!!! *
