Bought this kit for my engine build and found out the studs are too short for my cast aluminum pan. I have the original packaging card and they have been screwed into my block but not torqued. Paid $60 from Jegs. Make offer + shipping. p/n 254-1901 , hex head. Put the best on your engine !!

I don’t need them, but I do like them! They make it so much easier to install the oil pan.

Just looked at this set Mark is selling. Sure looks like it would work with a steel pan. My Canton pan uses the short studs.

Do you think it would work with a stock oil pan?

Absolutely they will fit a stock pan !! I installed a cast aluminum T-pan and the clear distance between the bolt hole and the outside of the pan is very close. I ended up using grade 8 hex head bolts and small diameter washers.

Used the same on my Cobra oil pan .
