Clutch Recommendations

I am in the home stretch of finalizing my driveline components but I still have a few details to work out. First, here is what I already have nailed down: 408W power plant in front of a Tremec TKO600 transmission going to a 9” rear with 3.89 gears and a tru-track limited slip differential. Going between the transmission and the engine will be a Quick Time (RM-6065) scattershield. I’m looking for clutch recommendations in this setup. I also haven’t decided whether or not I am going with a mechanical or hydraulic clutch linkage setup. Recommendations?

Would defenitely go for hydraulic clutch.
Clutch ? How you gonna use that car ? Street , Circuit , Strip ?
I would contact McLeod , Centerforce.

This car will predominantly be a street car but I can’t rule out some spirited driving events. I was looking at McLeod and it looks like there is quite a range of options. I am hoping to get some feedback from the group to understand if the $990 option is overkill or the $370 option is not good enough. The recommendations offered up by the manufacturer are fine but I would rather get the opinions of people that have actual experience.

Thanks Mark. If I have filtered my requirements correctly, it looks like my application would require P/N DF161830. It will mount up to my Windsor block, the clutch disk doesn’t exceed the 10.5” maximum diameter specified by the scattershild requirements, and mates to a 26 spline input shaft as needed for my Tremec transmission.

Is there anyone running this specific clutch or have other recommendations?
