Friday, I am flying to Pasco, Wa to pick up a 1969 Plymouth Fury Convertible. I can’t wait to drive the tank home.

I bought a 67 T-bird 4 door with suicide doors and a 390 for $200.00. Drove it off the lot and destroyed it in a demolition derby. Sold the engine and tranny for $200.00.

Looks like they did a good job on the restoration. I'm just surprised it only has a 318. Would have thought a big boat like that would have had something larger.

Brings back memories. Back then the CHP drove Dodge Polara's that really moved. My Mom had a '69 VIP with the Super Commando engine. Sort of a CHP cruiser with a vinyl top, power windows and fender skirts!!

It was the same color scheme as the brochure car

SAWEEEEEEET - - - - My very first car was a 1970 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe that my folk's bought brand new. Dad blew the engine so we bought a replacement 383, dropped it in and it was all mine for about $300. Had the "beautiful" paisley vinyl top with matching paisley interior. And yes it was a boat! Looked pretty much like this one:

It has a 318 in it with about 600 miles on a rebuild. Runs great!

i owned a 71 fury lll back in the 80s. i nick named it the USS enterprise, as big as it was i always worried that an F18 might mistake it for a carrier deck.
