20+ years in a box.....

I finally dusted off all my collectible Banks. They have been boxed up since 1996. I never really had a good place for them.

When my dad worked for old cars weekly he started buying me these Banks every year.

I built a wall in my workshop to hide the well pump and stuff, so I figured it was a great place for a built in shelf.

And here I thought the post title had something to do with you at the store.:p:D

Love that you chose to display them. Awesome collection made even more so given how you came to possess them.

TIP: Add a glass front to "seal up" the shelving. Keeps stuff clean so you are not always dusting and risk breaking fragile little parts off.

No, but I am going in 20 years at the store. Ugh.

I have some glass doors I was originally planning on putting on, I just haven't decided if I want them or a Plexi glass front.

Thanks guys. They do mean a lot to me. That's not even all of them.

I miss my dad every day. It's been 12 years since he passed away and it felt really good to finally be able to get these out. I also have a bunch of pictures and articles from his racing days that will eventually get hung up around there too.

I was going for more of Craftsman red to match all my tool boxes.

This is what that corner looked like before.
