Seat tag question.

Getting ready to reupholster my seats, I have one set of what I thought were 68s and also a set of 67s judging by the vertical vs horizontal lines. My question is will either set work in my 67 coupe. Found a tag on 68 seats. Anyone know if they are 68s, tag says 12/26/67. Here's a pic.

C8 designation is 1968. 12/26/67 is also 1968 production time.

Thanks, found 2 tags on the other set, has a C7 and those are the set with 68 upholstery on them, guess they were done before at some point.

I had always thought the '68 seat frames were different from the '65-'67 frames.
That's what I heard, but flipping them over they look the same. Guess I'll just stick them in the car and see which set fits better.

I thought the differences were mainly in the seat back frame--perhaps the '68 is a little thicker. Is there a latch on the '68 seat?

Only difference i see on bottom is where my finger is pointing. 68 has a solid plate, the other has open wire.

For future reference, either one of the backs fit fine, 68 bottom did not want to latch, 67 went right in.
