$2:52 gas Raleigh N.C.

Heard that earl hit $57 a barrel, thus dragging the Dow down 300 points.

Amazing...the price of oil hits record highs and the DOW goes down because the world can't afford to run propoerly and now its low the DOW goes down. And us little people just pay for it all.

Whenever the gas prices would shoot up I've always paid attention to what the (alleged), cause was reported to be. One time they'd claim price of oil went up so it cost more to manufacture, hence higher gas prices. Okay, I understand, raw material prices go up then so do product prices. Next they'd claim production was down so gas prices went up. Once again, I understand supply and demand. THEN they'd claim an abundance of gas so prices went up. Okay, now ya lost me! It's gotten to the point where I just wait to see what asinine excuse they'd come up with. Ummm, there's a full moon during the 5th month of the century causing pine trees to pollinate early so prices went up?!! Everyone knows that it would only hold water if they were Norfolk pines!! LOL

BTW, we had another price drop here. It's now down to $2.16. Anyone think we'll see under $2.00 before the bubble bursts?

I filled up earlier today at 2.39. A couple hours later it went down to 2.26. Gotta love my luck.

$2.05 today here. Filled up both the dual tanks on my F150 for the first time in a loooong time. And was happy about it!

Keeps dropping here. Filled up the daughters Focus this morning at my local Costco in Corona for 2.39 9/10.

$2.16 at Costco in St. George. Still over $2.50 elsewhere.
