Got another 67...

I am not sure how to post a video but we took it for a spin before I left for Australia. He has been working hard to get the brakes and carb sorted. Still needs a lot of love but it drove under it's own power the first time many years!
 
It's been slow coming but we got all the brakes working and it's running. We are putting some Mustang seats in it. Went to a swap meet today looking for more stuff!
 
When I was in High School the Petroski brothers had such a van...dull orange paint...ET slot mags..and a 400sb with a tunnel ram and dual 600s. Air cleaner holes cut in the dog house between the seats, a-la "shaker". When you stood on it, the air pressure in the van would drop and your ears would pop. Lots of tire smoke and other smoke. Always smelled like burning rope factory inside. Great fun.

this thing has been a real challenge. So much for thinking because it is a Chevy, parts are plentiful and cheap!
We have finally found a windshield and some door handles. The door handles are one year only, one body style only. We also found a wing/vent window for the drivers side.

the brakes are a hodge podge of other Chevy items because nothing is available for the G20 heavy half, the windshield gasket is for a 66 C10 pickup. these things are quite unique. I'm ready to burn some rope!
 
I was wondering what happened to you. Glad hes still plugging away at fixing that.

been out of the country a lot with this new job! But still finding time to mess with some junk once in a while!

well, same company, just new position. All international travel now... but yeah, we haven't chatted in a while
 
International only huh. Hopefully that means more down town between trips.
