I know some others have posted before but I couldn't find the thread. Today my son and I made a parking meter from a glasspack, broken harmonic balancer and a brake drum. Then we finally made my steering wheel table. 67 wheel, 67 hubcap, 67 steering column and 67 steering wheel. Oh and a 289 distributor cap pencil holder...

Those are cool.
thanks. Some one returned the glasspack to my son's store but they had clamped it on the car so they couldn't resell it. So they gave it to him for free. So I thought it would make a good pole for the parking meter. The table I had been thinking about for a while. Just finally took the time to build it. I cut the column and welded it to the wheel. The shaft inside was cut off an old steering gearbox. I took the center out of the hubcap. The steering wheel was my original wheel. The glass I bought at Pier 1.

Cool.

I've been thinking about doing some art. I've got a ton of junk parts from the Volvo I parted out. But I don't have a welder.

That's no way to talk about your Mustang, Pat. You about have it ready for summer cruising!
The mustang had been garage art for 5 years!

The weather is finally warming up. I think I'll get it out this week.

Looks awesome! All of my garage art is just parts that Jane has utterly destroyed... lots of smashed stuff :p Though I've got a pretty cool banner that I had intended for the garage that I put in my room instead - it's that photo of me and Jane in Utah.
