Knotts weekend

I had a great time, and once again got lost on my way to the group photo Saturday. Call me Caspar. Thanks goes out to Mike and Joanne for making the logistics happen!

I made it back without breaking down. The car got 16.4 MPG, shocked that it was that good.

Hey I got 11.4mpg for the whole trip about 700+ miles

No pictures from Knotts? You know what they say...no pictures, then it didn't happen.

Though I didn't track every fill up this year, the Mach got 15.6 on the last leg which is consistent with last year's entire trip. Total miles just under 800 for the weekend. Car ran like a top.

That's pretty good for a hotrod. My '69 with the 393W 4sp and 3.70 gears is good for 11-12. What's in the Mach?

The Mach is a mostly stock M code 351 Windsor backed by an FMX and a 3.25 rear end. Engine mods consist of a Pertronix Ignitor and a Holley 670 Street Avenger carb.

My first car, a 1969 Cougar had a 351W n FMX. The trans seemed solid but the valve train on that 351W was weak
