Remember the guy in the cardboard box that wanted a Mustang?
Wasn't he that young man who alternately went by "Want a...." then "Got a...." and lastly, "Had a..." before he disappeared into the ricer world?
Yup, that's him. I think he ended up in a civic and disappeared.I think you are correct.
JP dealt a big $hit sandwich by asking some of us if we wanted to participate in a small article about original patina on our cars. Apparently, "that is frowned upon in that establishment". This caused Nick "dodgestang" to publicly ridicule the owners and thus exit the forum. Then Mark "msell66" dealt the double-decker $hit sandwich and told all of us about this site and invited us over...and now here we are.
I remember that. That was about the time I stopped going there regularly. I remember some sort of drama when Bob tried to upgrade the site and it kinda blew up in his face, causing the site to be down for days at a time and people getting pissy about that. Then there was a guy, whose name I can't remember, that was buying core 3rd members and rebuilding them that passed away. There was about a dozen pages of senseless gossip and speculation and drama about that. Then there was the spectacle of Gorjess, a 19 yr old girl, flirting with old codgers on the site. All those things combined kinda took the fun out of the place for me.Remember the guy in the cardboard box that wanted a Mustang?
