This past weekend was my favorite car show. It's the 40th year and I have been going to this every year since it started.

This year there were around 1200 cars. I arrived around 830 and there were already 700 cars before I got there. It's in a great park with lots of trees.

Saturday night they do cruise night and I took a friend and his 2 boys with me. One of them is a future gear head. He has been waiting for a ride in the mustang for a long time.

WOW, some cool stuff. I like the 70 with the 69 Boss 302 trans am paint. The Cougar with the 4 cam and that 34-ish thing with a blower sideways sticking out. All of it looks cool but those stuck out to me!

I still haven't found the right vehicle yet. I want to do a 2 door Ford wagon.

I went up to the iola car show a couple weeks ago with cash hoping to find something. Came home empty handed.
