Getting the firewall holes made. Knocked out the hole for factory rod. Mounted slave cylinder and got pedals temporarily installed.

it's going to be a 502. The 429 was originally internally balanced. My flywheel and harmonic balncer are set-u for that. Scat only makes in internally balanced cast crank in 4.150". I could have went forged but that's another $1000! I could also have gone with externally balanced but would have paid a lot more to get the rotating assembly balanced. This kit will only be $200 to get balanced. So with 4.150" stroke and .030" over it comes to about 502 or 503. I got the 28cc dish pistons which will make 10:1 CR with my 75cc Eddelbrock heads. Pistons and rods are forged. ARP bolts and all that good stuff. The block has been line honed and they are boring it soon now that I dropped off the pistons. The rotating assembly has been balanced already. Should be able to start assembly in a week or two I hope

OOOOOOO... Nice. Makes me want to get back to working on the Mustang but I been real busy getting the barns updated at the farm to be my garage/work space.

it's been down or apart all summer. I miss driving it. Might get it back together with enough time to get some drivin' in before winter. Getting my son's 99 back on the road is nice too. its been taking space in the garage for almost a year. We have the Torino to get running too. It's been a while since everything has run at the same time!
