New toy to travel with

Great looking combo Mike. Glad you guys found one that fits your needs! I think you will both enjoy the RV experience.

How long is that trailer? What model #. I am interested in looking up the specs

Nice trailer!

When Alaina goes off to college, Jen and I want to get something similar.

Don’t wait until she grows up. Experience camping with her while she grows! I was raised going out camping in a little 23’ unit. As soon as we could, my wife and I bought one and enjoyed trips with our son. He started going with us at age 3 and still talks about the various trips we took. Some short weekenders, other 3 week adventures.

This!

We started camping when I was 6.

Its a 2016 Airstream International Serenity 25 foot (really 25' 11") Front Bedroom. We are the third owners. Bought it from a Lt Colonel in the Marines down in Yuma,AZ. Found papers inside stating the original owners were in Florida. My wife loves it. Now in the driveway going over things. As usual some lights (LEDs) are out and it seems these are AS priority lights so you just can't replace the LED stick. I took one out and will contact the maker.Maybe I can figure out how to replace with replaceable versions.

The problem right now is we both work weekends. So it would only be one or twice a year we could go. Other than vacations we only have 2 days a month off together as a family. Every other Sunday.

We do take her on lots of vacations, just can't do the whole weekend camping thing.

The joys of working retail.

My parents never took me camping growing up, and then I had to take a series of 2-month-long camping road trips by myself to catch up with the rest of the world :(

Trailer looks great! You sure your snoring won't rattle the hell out of those tin walls?

Looking great !
I see you have a fan beside the bed.
Does it get hot sometimes despite having A/C ??:rolleyes:

Nice floorplan, that should work well for you both. That truck won't even feel that trailer! Looking forward to hearing about your adventures.

Have yet to need either. Did use the heater though. Since it is aluminum it does suck up the cold. Just sorting things out now.
