Well it's in escrow now. We started looking about 2 weeks ago and was looking at fixer uppers. I had an idea about maybe adding the renovation money to our down payment and it moved us up in the price range we can afford. Found this place on a good area and it's away from a school and major streets on a 1/4 acre of land. We are so excited right now. The best part I don't need to do any upgrades, they are already done. We can move in and enjoy. Also if I'm friends with on Facebook don't post anything there.

Very cool you two!!!!

Not that this crowd needs an excuse for a party but a housewarming party sounds like a good idea..................

Ahhh...the pleasures of home ownership. NOT!
Every year, we have to replace some big item: water heater, fencing, roofing, dish washer, garbage disposal, etc. Be prepared for some angst among the joys of doing what you want with your residence.

Congratulations!

WOW Congrats!!!!

And that sloping driveway will be difficult when it ices up in winter........hahahaha:D

Congrats on joining the home owner club. In 30 years it will be all yours, that is unless Jen pays a little extra like my wife did. Bought our house in 91 and just paid it off this January. Penny now has a big yard to run and play in.

New water heater, new roof, going to buy a new dishwasher, a/c unit is new. I don't have to do anything major right away after we move in.
