Sounds nice, could you get a 30 day temp tag from the MVA for working on the car, I still think we can do that around here.

I could drive it I suppose. It has restricted antique plates on it now that are good April to Nov. I'm sure any cops I might encounter wouldn't ticket me, truth be told. I might take it out a bit yet. Have to see what the weather does. Any salt hitting the roads will be a show stopper for sure.

I hope everyone is sitting down. My car left the garage today for it's maiden voyage. It's the first time...EVER...that I have driven my car. Yep. Today was a very good day. Car drove exceptionally well. Everything worked flawlessly. Even my "guess-ti-mate" adjustment on the rear brake proportioning valve seems to be pretty damn close.

I had my son take a quick video as I drove by knowing the rules here but I have to find a host site, I guess, to have somewhere to link to the video. Maybe Youtube. All new to me. Have to look into it. Vid to come. You guys will just have to accept pictures for tonight. Please excuse the finish of the car. I just washed it off real quick with a hose to remove a years worth of accumulated filth and drove off. Still need to do some cut and buffing but that's for another day.

Holy crap, good thing you warned me to sit down.

So now that it's done, is it time to repaint it? Or you didn't like interior so it needs to be redone?

Seriously, congrats on the first drive!

Ah....show pictures of it wet to make the finish look better, trick. I see that all over Craigslist!

Congrats on the maiden voyage!

Thanks. I forgot I had this pic. Sent it to Mark when he asked me via text today if I did my first burnout yet. Short gears and an unfamiliar clutch set-up led to a couple blemishes on the drive. Proof it moves!

Congrats on the maiden voyage Terry. It's a beautiful car, you did a fantastic job on it. Now get out there and enjoy it.

Never argue with a Moron. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks again everyone. And don't worry it will not be made inoperable again. I still have lots of stuff I want/need to do to it but nothing that will take it off the street. Gonna rack up the miles this summer!

Sounds like it's time to start planning the Midwest stangfix fall cruise......
