Deb and I spent the 4th driving 2 hrs to meet a guy walking across the U.S. His name is Joe Turcotte and he's raising money for CCI http://support.cci.org/site/TR?px=1...d=1350&et=03eu6PzIf5oOjQEWnJIVtg&s_tafId=2248 and Achilles International (Pikes Peak Chapter) https://www.crowdrise.com/o/en/camp...n=oc&utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=crowdrise

This guy is freak'n amazing! Heck of a story as well. He calls his 3 wheel buggy "Wheelson" :)

For those of you not terrified of Facebook, here's the link.

We spent 2 hrs talking to him yesterday. Brought him bottles of cold water and picked up the air conditioned room for him overnight. He's a fitness trainer and was bored with his job, so decided to go on a walkabout to raise money for the two charities. He saved up for 2 years so he could do it.

Really cool guy!

You don't run into people like Mark very often. It leaves an impression. I mean have you seen the size of his ears?! Pictures can't do them justice.
