FUNNY AND SAD.

Ahhhhh....I have to give them credit for trying but....where do I start?

Well they should start with education. From there they will know their discrepancies. It looks like every one of them is designing per photos or movies.

Their contraptions look less thought out and assembled than the stuff we used to cobble together as kids. Down right scary the stupidity on display.

Not stupid but rather ignorant. They have the will to try but lack intelligence due to education.

Thats exactly what I wanted to say. I watch alot of documentairies and I noticed one thing about the people in Africa , the will to try but the lack of intelligence due to education.

A trip of 100 Km takes 2-3 days due to bad road conditions. VERY bad road conditions.
They pay for that ride and even help to push the truck out of the mud multiple times.
That layback attitude helps them I guess cause if it was me , I would get an heart attack !!!!

It's not just about lack of education. Intellect plays a larger role. For centuries inventors created amazing things by way of their own thinking and trials. Many had little to no formalized education. You can argue that few would deduce the correct shape of an airplane wing required to gain the necessary lift for flight without some help but it doesn't take a MIT grad to realize a helicopter rotor with a diameter of a large donut is not going to work!

Not everyone can go to school and come out an engineer. It's ok to recognize stupid when you see it. All those people in the videos laughing did.
