The SUN came out!!

Yeah, and I'm hearing all about it.

Yet again, I've managed to deploy overseas during a major snow event, leaving my lovely bride home alone to scoop snow and tend the dog.

Have fun dealing with Iowa weather. My wife and I have had enough and are looking to move to Tennessee once I get back.

Thanks but no thanks - not missing that cold and snow at all - I was able to spend this past 70* Saturday touring the replica ships, The Pinta and The Nina, as they were docked in Orange Beach, AL.

Good grief they came across the Atlantic in those little things? Are they 1:1?

I cannot even imagine traversing the seas in these "ships", let alone being on this small vessel with upwards of 30+ others along with all their provisions including live animals

The Nina is an exact duplicate while the Pinta was "built 15 ft longer and 8 ft wider to accommodate more people and be used for dockside charters/events"... more info - www.thenina.com.

Sounds like they will be altering their 2019 schedule according to one of the ship mates I spoke with. They were supposed to go up the east coast this year but instead they are doing the Mississippi River all the way to the St. Paul, MN area. If you have the chance it is well worth the price of admission IMO

Where did the sidewalks go?

Well I've about had it with this winter.

I'm used to cold and snow, but when it's affecting my business it's irritating. I'm way behind on sales and it's costing me my bonus this month. That's my mustang money!

I had to dig a path to the front door through the drifts.
