1 quart every 500 miles...

It doesn't make me happy. Runs good, but the smoke is a little embarrassing. I'm debating on whether to rebuild, or just find a good used engine. This is a '91 LX 5.0 convertible with 175k miles. Overall, it's in pretty good shape otherwise.

Depends how badly you need to drive it. If you need it quick, buy a rebuilt engine to put in. If you have the time, rebuild it.
