Left side trunk floor welded to the rear frame rail

New rear panel with package tray test fitted and also the quarters and taillight panel installed before the rear crossmember is welded. We wanted to make sure everything lines up in the rear before the rear crossmember is installed.

How do you guys great ready for the epoxy? The same grit roloc you use for grinding, a higher (numerical) grit (finer) roloc? A DA?

The outer structure was removed so he can repair the rust under it.

As Frank Barone would say "Holy Crap" That is nice work!

Looking forward to more updates...

I'm still trying to decide if I'm up to removing the roof on mine. After seeing what is doing under the roof on this one, I'm thinking maybe I should go for it.

Wish I had Brian's skills, then I wouldn't be as terrified as I know I'm not up to removing the existing skin without ruining it, and if the repro roof doesn't fit right, then I'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle...

Super work! Brian has some super metal working skills that I'm in awe of! :thu :thu

Thanks to the pics posted of his rebuilding the upper corner of the windshield opening it helped me out immensely in laying out and rebuilding the same area on my coupe project! Keep those pics coming, can't wait to see the car done! :yah

Brian has to make or patch the inner structure since it is not available.
