1965 V8 Spindle Nut Size

Anybody know for sure what size thread for the spindle nut? I picked up a couple sets at NAPA the other day and went to install them and they are way too small. I quick measurement showed 3/4"? Looking online I see 5/8" listed and am wondering if maybe the spindles that were on my car are not original. Perhaps upgraded to a bigger size at some point prior.

Broke out my thread gauge and such to confirm our discussion. 3/4-16. Off to Autozone I go.

Still begs the question why all the auto parts houses list it as being 5/8".

Looking through Rock Auto, it shows the 67's with a 3/4"-16 spindle nut. Somethings not right here!
