Its still gonna be a bad@$$ ride, I just loved the rat rod look of it before. Now you'll be afraid to beat on it...

Oh I'm gonna spank the shit out of it! NO worries there!

They shot a little primer on it and reassembled it the back half so I can pick up Friday for autocross preparation.

The fiberglass hood is giving them fits!!!

If I may ask, why did this not workout with Wade's? I was thinking about checking them out as well.

Since you are looking again one place I was going to checkout is Rods Car Craft. I have not talked to them yet but they are on the list.

Pm me about Wade's.

I toured Rod's Car Craft when I was looking for someone to paint my 69 Camaro. I was very impressed. Rod seemed like a super nice guy and his shop was full work and the cars were being worked on, and yes he would have been a good choice.

However, I want my car back in time to do a new interior and have it ready for the Power Tour in June. I have used Starkey Collision for my insurance jobs at work and personal. I asked if he would paint my car and he agreed. I'm the only classic car there, but I did see a Mustang Convertible he painted a few years ago that was really nice. Dropped it off Thursday and this is what it looked like Friday afternoon.

Glad to hear and see things are starting to happen. Hope they keep going on it and are not pulled off. Should be in the booth in ? days.
Power tour in about 127 days!!

A little progress at the body shop. Doors and fenders are back on. Jams and door bottom painted. They are working the gaps.

It is looking good. Did you shave the door handles? If so can you still Auto X the car or take it down the dragstrip if you ever got the wild hair?

Thanks! No did not shave door handles. I want it to look like a stock 67 GT with mag wheels, Shelby hood scoop and Deluxe Interior wrapped in Wimbledon White.

Can't see any difference :stu :roll

Seems that way to me too sometimes. Last time I was there the doors and fenders were off. The doors are shells now and I have the glass and "guts" in my shop. They are not going back in. I'm going with the one piece powered door glass from here:
