Took some stuff in the paint booth to edge (One door had primer overspray on the black so I had to blend a few spots)

Color. Had some issues had to sand after the sealer because it didn't lay down how I wanted then sanded after the first coat of base to help get the roughness out. Also got my suit in the sealer on the quarter panel when I was hitting the jam on my rear window. :rant

Hung a little run on the passenger side but got it cut and buffed out.

Missed a dent and had a block cut in the cowl so I will reshoot it.

Outstanding job !!!!!! That is the same way I have painted my mustangs for over 40 years. It looks like you really took your time to get a perfect job. Rich.

Thanks everyone! I got a new camera for christmas so I will be able to get good pictures now instead of taking them all on my phone.

I will be respraying the decklid because it isn't very straight.

Got the hood, fenders, quarter extentions and hood inserts sprayed also but the only thing that turned out good enough was the hood inserts and quarter extentions. I undercut a spot in the hood, missed a dent in one of the fenders and the other fender my cup dripped when I was spraying.

So at this point I am respraying the cowl, hood, fenders, decklid, and hopefully I'll get it right this time.

Got my engine cranked and it started making noise in the bottom end so I shut it off and pulled the pan. It had metal shavings in the oil so I checked all the bearings. Number 8 spun the rod bearing? All I could think was I let it sit too long and it wasn't lubricated good enough or I messed up when I torqued it. I got another set of bearings and measured with plasic gauge and everything came out within allowances so I'm going to crank it again and see. Forgot to mention I had oil pressure until it started making noise and then it dropped off.

I got the bottom end of the engine back together and ready to start again. Will upload a video when/if I get it cranked again.

I got the doors cut and buffed today and hung one just to make sure the color was going to match. It isn't aligned so don't think anything about it being so far off.

I have better pictures on my camera but I don't have it with me so this one is just from my phone.

I am getting my front racing valance and stone guard monday and I ordered my weatherstripping kit so hopefully have it by the end of the next week and have everything sprayed by the end of next week. I am pushing for the body to be painted and assembled by the 11th of Feb which we are taking it and entering it as a project in the World of Wheels car show at Bartle Hall in KC.

There is a project class at WoW? A friend of mine said he thought there was, he told me I should take the rat rod up there.
