I need pictures of a 70 302 alt. mounting brackets and crank and water pump pulleys. Still sorting out the best way for me to go on the front of mine based on what I have now.

Perfect. Now, what turns the water pump and how is it adjusted?

Crank pulley & water pump pulley all run together with the power steering. Power steering pump bracket is your adjustment.

Without PS would be one belt for crank, waterpump and Alt.

I know one belt, but there must be a different pulley setup for that as the water pump does not line up in the provided pics.

I'm more inclined to say different lowe alternator mounting brackets and different upper bushing where it mounts to the head maybe...? It would just need to me moved back, 1 belt width essentialy, to line up with the water pump pulley and the inner pulley on the 2-pulley crank.
