289 motor mount question

ok ok I screwed up. :hs

I had my motor mounts marked L and R then proceeded to sandblast them and paint them, losing the marks in the process. does anyone know which way does the offset goes, does the short side of the motor mount (the bolt down into the frame is offset) go toward the front or the back of the car?

I looked through my pics I took during rebuild since my engine is back in. This is the clearest one I can find showing the chassis mount w/o the rubber motor mount on. For the drivers side the longer piece faced the rear and I believe it has holes for the PS bracket to separate it from the pass. side. Pretty sure they drilled these holes whether or not the car came with PS but someone else may chime in on that.

I'll see if I can get a decent pic under the car when I get home in a few hours.
