Can I use this engine to convert it to a carburated one ?
I guess I'll need an intake and carburator , new dizzy , new waterpump , new sump and oil pick up. Anything else ? What the compression ratio on these engines ??

Not sure but probably need a timing chain cover to facilitate running a manual fuel pump.

.......or just run an electric fuel pump.......

What they said. It's an "F4TE" same as a truck engine and a roller cam. So make sure your new distributor gets or has a steel gear. Compression ratio about 8.5 to 1.
