502 almost ready for the dyno

I have been in Europe a LOT the last several months. Was hoping to have the engine all together and dyno'd by now. Power Tour is coming fast. I don't think I am going to make it!!!!
But all machine work done, everything has been measured and clearances checked. Rings file fit, valves adjusted, etc. She has been bored, line honed, balanced and blueprinted! Cam has been degreed (which was a good thing I checked because timing chain had it retarded 4 degrees). Anyway, here are some pics

Looking good. What is the final compression ratio? Looks like some serious relief area in the piston top. And what rockers did you settle on (you may have told us but I forgot)?
 
Going the Power Tour with a fresly rebuilt engine isn't a good idea. Don't doubt about your craftmanshift but a few miles around the church can't hurt.

CR is 10:1 with the 75cc heads. The dish is required due to the stroker crank. I went with Lunati Voodoo Roller Rockers. Scotty the "Mad Porter" custom ground my cam and verified the distributor curv mods I made on his Sun machine. He also recommended a Torker II intake. He said I will give up a little torque on the bottom end but gain a lot on the top end with a single plane. He said I will have so much torque I won't notice it and he predicts with street tires it will never hook anyway.

I'm going to break it in on a dyno and then make a few pulls before it ever goes in the car. Like Terry last year, I am cutting it pretty close. Once the engine is all worked out I still have to put it in and sort out the TKO conversion. The new motor mounts moved the engine back and down so I will need to re do the exhaust. I will need a driveshaft made also. I am still moving forward but I have about 6 weeks before the Power Tour and I know I have to go to Atlanta, Canada and Brazil in that time as well. I am realistically thinking about "plan B"
 
I ran a Torker II for a while on a SBF with a C4. Upper mid and beyond it would scream but was a total dog as a driver. You give up more than a little low end torque but you're surely not lacking there so be interested in how you end up liking it.

Well I have a Performer intake still if I don’t like it. But my cam guy says it will be in 700 lb feet range on torque. It had plenty as a 429 so I can only imagine what it will be now.
Plus it’s a manual trans now too so I can use whatever rpm it wants to leave at.

Talked to the speed shop today. Targeted for next Friday to put it on the dyno.
