here's my fastback that I've been working on over the last couple of years, finally laid some paint to the under carriage a couple of days ago, I decided to go body color, Dark Moss Green, I used Imron paint, base clear, this paint is tough...

Nice. Have not seen many use Imron for years. The Air Force use to use it on aircraft struts.........I did a '63 Chevy truck and a '65 Impalla SS in white way back in '76-77. That is some tough paint when done right,

Yes, original color Dark Moss Green, the engine compartment will be Black Imron, and the rest acrylic lacquer.

Nook very nice. Sure a lot of 67-68 green fastbacks around here!
True... but I don't think any of them are the dark moss green... it's funny how the dark moss green is actually brighter than highland green.

That underbody looks really nice...

finally got color :yah the lacquer set up quicker then we wanted, thinners aren't what they used to be, water sanding all weekend...

we did a test sand and polish Friday on the 1/4 panel, gonna look nice.

some progress pics

brought it home a few weeks ago and slowly finding time to put it back together, so far I have ruined two repro trunk lid moldings, they're a Bitc& getting it to pop into the clips without bending it!

Is it just a overly deceiving picture, or do the valve cover bolt to both the head and manifold? Looks amazing either way!

Looks like a Ford FE series motor. The pushrods run through the intake and the top of the valve cover bolts to the intake.
