68 Coupe Daily Driver - Keeping it running and trying to impove it

Finally finished my custom gauge cluster. The tach is a new 3 wire from tachman. Looks factory. I put a gas gauge where I used to have a mini tach. I like the look and the full size tach is easier to see.

What's wrong with the roller perches?

I thought they were hard to turn but they are fine. I did order John's new design perches. They will make putting the shock on easier.

As soon as they get in, I will finish installing them. In the meantime, I cleaning the under carriage and finding all my fluid leaks and trying to fix them.

Here are the new designed roller perches!

Just be sure to order a 22 gal sending unit so that everything jives together.
That is what is in the white box to the right of the tank. Any other tips?

aha! So that's what's in the white box. Brass float I hope. Do you have a lock ring wrench? How soon are you installing the sending unit? If you'll pay the postage out and back, I'd consider sending you my sending unit tweaking fixture with a lock ring wrench.

Also, with the 22 gal tank being higher, which filler neck are you using?

The mat is back in but I will need to fill the gaps around the tank to make the floor flat.

I got your other filler neck to modify. I am heading to Brazil tomorrow for a few weeks but I will get it done when I return. Then I will be doing the same swap!

The sun visors were smashed into the molded in overhead console that I bought at Mustangs to fear. I believe they had special sun visors that were thinner at the end to prevent this. I had the idea of turn the bracket around and it worked great.
