Couldn't remember if we have anyone who does home Heating and ac.
Or ac stopped working a couple months ago. Coils freezing up. Had a company come out and check it. They recharged it saying it was a couple pounds low on refrigerant. It started working again for a couple months. Now it's stopped working again.
The system is about 18 years old and uses the old Freon that is no longer readily available. So I'm guessing it's time to replace the whole system.
So any suggestions on what brand would be best, but not crazy expensive. The house is a two story about 2800sq ft.
I know there is no simple answer, just don't really know much about all the sizes, btu, seer etc.
