i'm in the process of rebuilding my pedal setup that burned in the fire & although the disc brake pedal pad melted, the little stainless insert polished up fine. it was brand new before the fire so no scratches or wear. i know these get lost from time to time, so if anyone needs a replacement p.m. your address & i'll send it to ya...
