Anyone made their own Wood Floors?

I am about to get some of my logs from the farm milled. I will end up with 3 to 4k linear feet of 1 by. It is a mixture of Red oak, white oak, cedar, and hack berry. Boards will be in 4 inch widths to 15 inch widths. Until it is cut, I will not know how much board feet of each wood. But I do have more white oak logs and they are the biggest of the lot.

I have about a year to plan this out since it will need air drying time.

I see this as a need for some more tools.

I've made a few miles of T&G material over my career, haven't installed any though. Keep the boards less than 6", preferably 4" or less to keep it from warping, twisting and bowing. If you can get it kiln dried, that'll keep it straighter. If drying yourself, keep lots of stickers between rows and leave plenty of air space. Also, keep a heavy weight on the very top.

The mill guy said he will show me how to air stack. I am using one of our tractor ports as the stack area.

No wood floors, but I'm pretty damn good at dirt floors, if I do say so myself!
