Brazing Panel Seams - Fast & Loud Falcon

I happened to catch the episode of Fast & Loud yesterday where they rebuilt a 63 Falcon road race car... they ended up blasting the car and when it returned bare I noticed what looked like braze in all of the seams of the floor pans... is this an old school trick? Makes sense that it would stiffen up the chassis of the car and be a lot quicker than trying to seam welding all the joints which I have heard of folks doing...

Sharp eye, it would make sense since brazing goes so much faster than seam welding and can be quite strong, especially since it's already spot welded. I think you can post to the Fast & Loud site and ask Aaron.

I know that is another "reality" car show, but I find it a welcome change from the OCC family dirty laundry show. Richard doesn't seem so full of himself, and he seems to be pretty fair when he buys a car, usually over paying, IMHO.

Let us know what you find out.
