Dead critters

I've been finding random dead critters in my back yard the last few weeks.

Birds, squirrels, chipmunks.

I thought it was a stray cat or something. Maybe Mike.....

This morning I found out what was doing it. I was quite shocked.

Blue heron. Had one clean out a koi pond once. Vicious things

I'm pretty sure that's a blue heron. This thing is vicious.

Could not get a good focus on it from inside.

I dislike herons., Last spring, they killed all the wild baby ducks at one of our ponds. They ate their fill then just killed the rest. They made my shoot at list along with turtles and raccoons.
