Does a wire connect to this II?

1965, Falcon cluster w/ alt. Does a wire connect to this spade on the ignition switch? I don't have any extra wires for it. Thx.

That looks like a 67 Mustang ignition switch. That spade is for the master cylinder brake indicator signal.
 
Hmmm, I think you are right according to the part number. Can I still use it and disregard the extra spade?

You sure can. I'd wrap the spade lug with electrical tape, as it will be hot during either ACC or RUN mode.

a little late to the game, but when i run across a spade terminal that wont get used, i usually just snap a fully insulated female connector on or use a little piece of shrink sleeve over it. that way there are no worries with heat causing electrical tape to come off later on down the road....
