I have been working on drilling out the bolts that hold in the door latch on the TA.
Got one out tonight and made some progress on the second of the three.
Phillips head and about 30 years of accumulated crud and pretty much frozen in bolt is guaranteed to result in the bolt head getting stripped. I don't know which engineer came up with that design but I sure hope they got fired. Maybe he started designing those after being fired from Ford for designing the cowl vents on the 1st generation Mustangs?
Drilling these three bolts out just to replace the latch is starting to suck. The crazy humid weather isn't helping.
