Exhaust resonators?

Haven't been on for a while, but my '67 notch is finally getting a splash of paint and is almost out of the shop. Since I have the opporunity to make a few extra changes, I'm considering adding some exhaust resonators to take some of the bite out my current setup.

I'm running a '86-'93 5.0 with an E303 cam and longtube tri-y headers. I installed an X-pipe to 2.5" pipes into SpinTech mufflers. They sound great, but can drone on the highway. Also, they're a bit loud for early morning starts and late night home arrivals...my wife says she can hear me at least a 1/4 mile away and in the neighborhood.

Has anyone added resonators to tone down the "bark" a bit? Found some Vibrant Resonators on Summit (p/n 1792) that may fit the bill.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
