Fact or Fiction....

In the dealings I have had with this solenoid/starter problem, my research has turned up the following info. My question is is it possible? I have never heard of it until now. I have been told this by several people plus found it referenced on other seb sites.

They say that a low or weak battery can cause a good solenoid to NOT disengage, keeping the starter engaged after the key is released.

Don't know if I could buy into that.

I would think a weak battery would have a more difficult time keeping the solenoid engaged.
