There are three factors to be considered when answering this question....
It depends on what the fish are biting, the individuals ability to tolerate the "motion of the ocean", and how hungover you are.
Because if you're real hungover.... or even half drunk...... or the motion of the ocean is not agreeing with you... sticking your hand into the cut bait pail will definitely send you over the edge.
