Ford 390 Teardown

So the 390 I bought was dropped off today and I started the teardown. I got everything but heads and pistons for the engine. I got the water & fuel pumps, and timing cover off but i couldnt take it completly off because I didnt have my pulley puller with me to remove the crank pulley. Gotta teardown further tmro once I have the puller.

Overall plan is to teardown engine to bare block, get it baked and honed and build the engine from there.

I continued with the teardown last night.

Got the harmonic balancer, timing cover, timing chain, cam essentric, and 3 of the 5 main caps off.

the remaining to main caps have alot less wiggle room so there being a real pain to remove.
