pulled the old 1725 4 banger to make room for the 2.8 V/6 that I've been working on for the past 4 years :amaz

been a challenge peicing together the parts, it's from a 85 bronco II with a custom grind cam, the valves are from a 2.9 and some nice port work to the heads, I'm guessing around 240 hp

she's excited, it was 5 years ago I surprised her with it for her 40th, I painted it fixed all the safety stuff, brakes etc. but the 1725 leaked like BP... and ran like well you know, this thing has to be on the road with no worries by Aug 2nd. her 45th

thanks guys! yes cool car and wife! we'll be celebrating our 24th on Sunday, she'll be at a Wedding Shower and I'll be at the Toronto Honda Indy :pbj

it'll be a blast! the alpines handle better than the tigers.

So what are you doing about headers/exhaust manifolds. Do they make aftermarket ones that will work with your car? You have me interested in a new project.

there's a kit that includes a hand full of custom items, motor mounts, center link, tranny crossmember, headers..

you need a Bell housing, flywheel, clutch/pp, water pump, pulleys, from a 74-78 Mustang II

the tranny comes from a 93 Mustang 3.8 for the gearing.

I can supply finer details if interested, it takes a while to find all the parts :)

Looks pretty tight in there. Is it?

I couldn't clap :lol

actually it's a really good fit, it's hard to show the clearances in pictures, here's another pic, I'm a good 1/2" from everything.

Nicd, my wife's cousin has two, well had. He totaled one on the freeway system in the LA area. Went out of control and hit the center concrete and then went all the way over to the right. Pretty much smashed both sides of the car.

He had a 347 in it. Fun car, I drove it once, very fun!
