In May, my Mother is turning 80 and I am planning a surprised birthday party for her.
Planning on a get together at a hotel on Memorial Day weekend, so people can come in on the weekend and minimize the time they need to take from work.
I've got relatives, friends and many others planned to come and celebrate her life.
She has been a rock solid person who raised 4 boys and a girl, wiped out a Maytag washing machine and did it all with a persistent smile on her face. Something that helped me be the person I am (the good parts - still working on improving the other elements).
Mom, we're going to have a blast to rejoice in what you have done, and you have earned it all.
