So, after waiting 8 weeks and 1 day, I get a letter from the DMV. As soon as I open the letter and an envelope falls out first, I know that it's not a good sign. It's not a rejection letter, but according to the paperwork best I can tell the local DMV F'ed up. It's says it's an incomplete application -- see above. The above part says "YOU MUST TAKE THE PLATES/PAPER WORK (REG 352 FORM) BACK TO YOUR LOCAL DMV FOR COMPLETION. WTF!!! Looking at the form, down at the bottom where it is "for deparment use only" where they authenticate the YOM plates, it's blank the *&%^&%$ (explative removed) DMV employee did not fill out the form before sending it to Sacto. So, back to the DMV I go and I guess start the 8-12 week wait over again. I hope that it get finalized before mid feb when my personal plate come due.
