Grilled injected chicken

Got a meat injector for Christmas and decided to try it out yesterday with some chicken. Did two different recipes as follows:

Left plate:
Meat injected with a mix of soy sauce, maple syrup and white wine. Meat then dusted with some Char crust seasoning.

Right plate:
Injected with some Cajun garlic and herb sauce. Meat then dusted with some "rub with love, chicken rub" (The name caught my attention)

The judges came back with a unanimous decision giving the left plate with the simple home made sauce, the trophy. Sorry Rub with Love. Maybe some other time.

Looks great. The rub is made by Tom Douglas the chef up in Seattle. Costco sells it under a different label now
