Is Harry still selling Mustang parts in Oakdale, CA? I have been to his place a couple of times many years ago to buy hard to find stuff. He had a back yard full of Mustangs in various levels of disassembly and two barns with scads of inventoried parts. I used to see him occasionally at shows with, in the beginning, a very nice '69 428 SCJ and, more recently, a beautifully preserved '78 Mustang II Cobra. I've lost his phone number and can't remember the name of his business but I remember that he was on one of the residential streets in Oakdale as you entered town on Hwy. 120. Anyone have any info on this old guy (imagine me calling anyone that).

Harry never really sold Mustangs. He would tell you he wanted to, until you showed him the cash and then he would back out of the deals. I bought many over priced parts from him for the Fastback, but never could make a deal on any of his cars. A few years ago the listed a lot of it on Craigslist , wanting to clean up the place. Again, I tried to buy with no luck. I would be surprised if he is still alive. I will drop by next week and see if he is still kicking. For those that don't know, he had quite a selection of cars, including a Boss 9 drag car that had a tubular front clip. Just the body and VIN and he figured it was worth well into the six figure arena.

Do you have Harry's address (somewhere on E. A St. I think) his phone number or the name of his business?

No, I haven't. My old Mustang club from the Bay Area had a luncheon in Oakdale and I thought I'd try an drag them over to Harry's to have a look around. I got to Oakdale early and searched E. A Street for Harry's place. I think I may have found it, but it looked way too neat and domestic so I didn't have the courage to go up and ring the door bell. Lunch with Mission Trail Mustangs was great, and we toured the Cowboy Museum instead.
