    Last two pics have one coat of Calyx manifold dressing applied.

    First time I have used Calyx. Really nice stuff. I liked it so well, I applied a coat to my MC that was starting to show some surface rust. Looks brand new again.

    I was shocked at the amount of mismatch between the gasket and the manny's.

    I will say I'm a little concerned about the front edge on #1 exhaust port.

    That small amount sealing area would be the only reason I would use an exhaust manifold gasket. Normally I leave them off on all vintage Ford engines when both the manifolds and the heads are cast iron, and the manifolds have been planed perfectly flat.
